ISO 14001
This International Standard
- is applicable to any organization, regardless of size, type and nature, and applies to the environmental aspects of its activities, products and services that the organization determines it can either control or influence considering a life cycle perspective,
- does not state specific environmental performance criteria.
ISO 45001
This International Standard
- is applicable to any organization regardless of its size, type and activities. It is applicable to the OH&S risks under the organization’s control, taking into account factors such as the context in which the organization operates and the needs and expectations of its workers and other interested parties,
- does not state specific criteria for OH&S performance, nor is it prescriptive about the design of an OH&S management system,
- enables an organization, through its OH&S management system, to integrate other aspects of health and safety, such as worker wellness/wellbeing.
ISO 50001
This International Standard
- is applicable to any organization regardless of its type, size, complexity, geographical location, organizational culture or the products and services it provides,
- is applicable to activities affecting energy performance that are managed and controlled by the organization,
- is applicable irrespective of the quantity, use, or types of energy consumed.
ISO 22000
All requirements of this International Standard are generic and are intended to be applicable to all organizations in the food chain regardless of size and complexity.
This standard applicable to total food chain, includes, but are not limited to, feed producers, animal food producers, harvesters of wild plants and animals, farmers, producers of ingredients, food manufacturers, retailers, food services, catering services, organizations providing cleaning and sanitation services, transportation, storage and distribution services.
ISO 27001
This International Standard specifies the requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an information security management system within the context of the organization
AS 9100
This International Standard
- Includes ISO 9001:2015 quality management system requirements and specifies additional aviation, space, and defense industry requirements, definitions, and notes,
- Specified requirements are complementary (not alternative) to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
IATF 16949
This Automotive QMS Standard
- defines the quality management system requirements for the design and development, production and when relevant, assembly, installation, and services of automotive-related products, including products with embedded software,
- is applicable to sites of the organization where manufacturing of customer-specified production parts, service parts, and/or accessory parts occur,
- Should be applied throughout the automotive supply chain.
ISO 17025
This International Standard
- specifies the general requirements for the competence to carry out tests and/or calibrations, including sampling,
- covers testing and calibration performed using standard methods, non-standard methods, and laboratory-developed methods,
- is applicable to all organizations performing tests and/or calibrations,
- is applicable to all laboratories regardless of the number of personnel or the extent of the scope of testing and/or calibration activities,
- is not intended to be used as the basis for certification of laboratories.
ISO 21001
This International Standard
- specifies the requirements are generic and intended to be applicable to any organization that uses a curriculum to support the development of competence through teaching, learning or research, regardless of the type, size or method of delivery,
- can be applied to educational organizations within larger organizations whose core business is not education, such as professional training departments,
- does not apply to organizations that only produce or manufacture educational products.
ISO 13485
This International Standard
- specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organization needs to demonstrate its ability to provide medical devices and related services that consistently meet customer and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Requirements are applicable to organizations regardless of their size and regardless of their type except where explicitly stated.
SA 8000
SA8000 is to provide an auditable, voluntary standard, based on the UN Declaration of Human Rights, ILO and other international human rights and labour norms and national labour laws, to empower and protect all personnel within an organisation’s control and influence who provide products or services for that organisation, including personnel employed by the organisation itself and by its suppliers, sub-contractors, sub-suppliers and home workers.
